Arik Air resumes operations as union cabinets strike

The administration of Arik Air has introduced the resumption of regular flight operations after Monday’s disruption by some employees unions.

Mr Adebanji Ola, the Communications Supervisor of Arik Air introduced the resumption in an announcement made accessible to the Information Company of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Tuesday.

In keeping with Ola, all Arik Air’s early morning flights for Tuesday, Sept. 15, operated out and in of Lagos on schedule, and all different flights for the day will function as scheduled.

The unions that included the Nationwide Union of Air Transport Workers (NUATE) and Air Transport Senior Workers Companies Affiliation of Nigeria (ATSSSAN) claimed that Arik Air has since April not paid its employees after inserting 90 per cent of its workforce on obligatory depart.
