Boko Haram Assault: Governor Zulum ignored intelligence report – Ex-DSS Boss, Amakiri

A former Deputy Director of the Division of State Service (DSS), Dennis Amakiri have reacted to the assault on safety intelligence by residents.

That is as Nigerians have continued responsible the disaster within the northeast area on alleged lapses within the nation’s safety structure and intelligence gathering methods.

Amakiri stated there was nothing unsuitable with the problem of intelligence gathering within the area however the perspective of the Borno State Governor has resulted within the assault.

The previous Director, State Safety Providers, throughout a programme on Channels Tv on Thursday, stated, the Borno State Governor, Professor Zulum was warned earlier towards taking such harmful voyage to Baga.

He stated Zulum has consistently been given safety intelligence of the scenario in his area.

“The Governor of Borno State was given the intelligence that this highway will not be protected, he felt he might go,” he stated. “And being the Chief Government, he ventured out. He was attacked twice. I hope he is not going to go once more as a result of not less than they proceed telling him, managing him to ensure that he retains himself protected.”
