Boko Haram: Gov. Zulum mourns Col. Dahiru Bako killed by insurgents in Borno

Gov. Babagana Zulum of Borno State has condoled with the Nigerian Military over the demise of Col. Dahiru Bako, who was killed in an ambush by Boko Haram insurgents, NAN stories.

Bako was killed on Monday whereas main his troops on a clearance at Sabon Gari-Wajiroko axis in Damboa Native Authorities Space of the state.

Reacting, Zulum, in a press release launched by his Particular Adviser Media and Methods, Malam Isa Gusau in Maiduguri on Monday, stated his sacrifices and people of different fallen troopers wouldn’t be in useless.

“Late Col. Bako was a person dearly liked by many individuals.
“He was a gallant soldier who impressed his troops and led them to frontlines with alot of braveness that was clearly out of pure patriotism.

“Bako was a person who fought arduous and really effectively.

“He defeated many enemies of peace and guarded our folks to the purpose that he gave his life defending the folks.

“By the God’s particular grace,his sacrifices and that of many different heroes like him within the armed forces shall by no means be in useless.
