Boko Haram: My life is at risk – Mailafia cries out after third DSS invitation

A former Deputy Governor of the Central Financial institution of Nigeria (CBN), Obadiah Mailafia, has claimed his life is at risk.

The Division of State Providers (DSS) invited Mailafia in August, over his allegations {that a} Northern Governor is the chief of Boko Haram.

DAILY POST recollects that after his second DSS invitation, the Felony Investigation Unit of the Police in Abuja, requested him to look earlier than it.

However Mailafia refused to honour the invitation and as an alternative filed a lawsuit searching for a restraining order towards his invitation by the police.

Chatting with reporters in Jos, the Plateau State capital, after he was interrogated for a 3rd time by the DSS, Mailafia stated he has been getting threats to his life.

“I’ve indicated that I’ve motive to consider that my life has been at risk.

“I’ve no conclusive proof however I get threats, I get calls.

“The place I used to be staying, on Thursday, I noticed some unusual folks on the gate attempting to interrupt in. I jumped the fence and escaped as a result of I don’t know who they’re,” he stated.
