COVID-19: Colleges warned to not accumulate third time period charges in Kwara

As educational actions resume in Kwara State, Principals and personal colleges house owners have been warned to not accumulate third time period charges from dad and mom and guardians.

The 2020/2021 educational session begins on Monday, October fifth, 2020.

This was disclosed by the state Commissioner for Training and Human Capital Growth, Hajia Fatima Bisola Ahmed, at a stakeholders assembly held at St’ Anthony Secondary College, in Ilorin, on Friday.

She reminded the stakeholders that Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq had accepted October fifth,2020, as the start of the 2020/2021 educational session.

Hajia Ahmed warned that” No college ought to below any disguise, accumulate third time period charges.”

The commissioner, who was represented by the Director, High quality Assurance Bureau, Mrs Consolation Abioye, disclosed that Primary Training Certificates Examination, BECE, will begin on Tuesday, sixth, October 2020, whereas the Widespread Entrance Examination will maintain on 17th, October 2020.

She urged all colleges to stick to the COVID-19 security protocols to keep away from the transmission of the virus amongst college students.

The commissioner additional defined that “The swapping of Principals to curb examination malpractices, will proceed in each BECE and the forthcoming NECO examinations.

“Principals in public colleges will probably be swapped to different colleges to watch and supervise examinations.
