COVID-19: NCAA threatens to cease home flights

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has threatened to cease home flights within the nation.

In a letter addressed to native airways on Monday, NCAA stated it has noticed that some airways are breaching the protocol put in place to curb the unfold of COVID-19.

The regulatory company, due to this fact, warned defaulters to desist or face “extreme penalties” together with “cancellation of approval to renew home operations”.

NCAA made it clear that the resumption of home operations was based mostly on compliance with protocols put in place by the Presidential Activity Power (PTF) on COVID-19 and the Nigeria Centre for Illness Management (NCDC).

“Approvals for resumption of home operations are predicated on compliance with the above protocol.

“This can be a warning to all home operators who should not in compliance to desist from such acts instantly.

“The continued non-compliance with the COVID-19 protocol will appeal to extreme penalties as much as and together with cancellation of approval to renew home operations. Please be guided accordingly,” the letter learn partly.
