Edo Election: ‘Struggle shouldn’t be over’ says Obaseki, calls for coperation from Oshiomhole

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State on Tuesday mentioned he holds no grudge in opposition to suspended APC Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.

Obaseki mentioned this whereas receiving his certificates of return from the Impartial Nationwide Electoral Fee, INEC.

The Edo Governor requested Oshiomhole to affix him in constructing Edo State, including that the battle shouldn’t be over.

“On a particular notice, I need to use this event to remind the previous Nationwide Chairman of the APC, Adams Oshiomhole that the battle shouldn’t be over, to return and take part constructing the home the place he was a part of laying the inspiration.

“Now we have no malice; the one factor we disagreed on is on the method in transferring Edo ahead.’’

Governor Obaseki was re-elected on Sunday after scoring the best variety of votes and defeating his closest rival, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressives Congress (APC)
