EFCC arrests lecturers, 28 others for alleged web fraud, herbalist wished

The Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee (EFCC) has arrested two lecturers of the Kwara State Faculty of Well being Expertise, Offa, and 28 others for alleged web fraud.

The lecturers are Abdulahi Opashola and Adebisi Ademola.

Dele Oyewale, the EFCC spokesman, introduced the raid in an announcement on Monday.

Additionally nabbed have been Kingsley Essien, Tobiloba Adenuga, Tope Ayodele, Rasheed Mujib, Oladipo Opeyemi, Saadu Muktar, Oladejo Hammed, Hammed Tope.

Others have been Amaechi Umenyi, Salauden Adam, Afolabi Gafar, Oladimeji Timi, Remilekun Adeolu, Audu John, David Momodu, Abdulkareem Samad, Adebiyi Sodiq, Dawodu Olusoji, Yusuf Amoo.

The remaining suspects have been Kehinde Olarenwaju, Philip Mike, Ademola Adebukola, Adeniyi, Adeyemi Adedeji, Ajayi Teslem, Olawale Oladayo, Olasunkanmi Olawale and Adeleke Damilola.

Oyewale disclosed that they have been arrested at completely different places in Kwara following intelligence gathered by the EFCC.

The assertion added that efforts are ongoing to arrest a herbalist linked with the alleged offense.

Gadgets recovered from the suspects embody automobiles, telephones, laptop computer computer systems, amongst others.
