EFCC: Confront me at Buhari’s panel if I collected bribe – Ibrahim Magu to Nigerians

Ibrahim Magu, suspended chairman of the Financial and Monetary Crimes Fee, EFCC, has denied gathering bribe from anyone.

Magu dared anybody with proof of his gathering bribe to publicly confront him earlier than the Presidential panel investigating his actions as head of the EFCC.

He was reacting to an allegation that he allowed a suspect, Hima Aboubakar, a Nigerien Nationwide, to flee justice.

Talking yesterday, the suspended EFCC Czar mentioned anyone with proof of him gathering bribe ought to “come out publicly to confront him earlier than the Justice Ayo Salami panel”.

Magu had opened his protection to the allegations of ‘Alleged Abuse of Workplace and Mismanagement of Federal Authorities Recovered Property and Funds’ introduced in opposition to him by the Legal professional Common of the Federation, Abubakar Malami.

The suspended EFCC boss was represented by two of his attorneys, Wahab Shittu and Tosin Ojaomo.

Magu is presently being probed for alleged mismanagement and insubordination whereas in workplace.
