The Progressives Governors Discussion board (PGF) has condemned Saturday’s assault on the convoys of Gov. Babagana Zulum of Borno State alongside Maiduguri Baga Street, by Boko Haram insurgents, describing it as a distraction.
The discussion board made the condemnation in an announcement signed by its Chairman, Gov. Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi on Sunday in Abuja, whereas commiserating with the folks and authorities of Borno over the incidence, NAN reposts.
In response to the assertion, one of many convoys belonged to the governor whereas the opposite belonged to the committee on Baga reconstruction.
“As Progressive Governors, we’re saddened by this dastardly assault, which has resulted within the unlucky dying of treasured lives of safety personnel and harmless residents.
“The assault of Saturday, Sept. 26, on the 2 convoys by the Boko Haram insurgents is to distract the federal government from guaranteeing that life returns to regular in Borno.

It added that the progressive governors on their half will proceed to help their colleague to make sure peace and tranquillity returns to the realm.
