Vardy gained too extra penalties, whereas James Maddison added a fourth. Youri Tielemans put the icing on the cake with one other penalty.
As Metropolis’s defence had been uncovered by Leicester, their assault was blunt, with pure strikers Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus injured.
However Guardiola has blamed the Foxes’ type for his or her loss on the Etihad.
“They didn’t need to play, they defended so deep and simply needed to counter-attack.
