Kogi: I inherited over N50bn wage obligations from earlier administrations – Bello

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has mentioned that his administration needed to clear over N50 billion in wage obligations inherited from earlier administrations within the state.

Gov. Bello acknowledged this throughout his speech to mark Nigeria’s 60th Unbiased anniversary in Lokoja on Thursday.

He mentioned the majority of that cash was borrowed together with different debt obligations which in response to him continued to impede the flexibility of the state authorities to release funds for infrastructural and different growth.
