Lagos confirms NNPC pipeline leakage, warns residents

The Lagos State Authorities on Saturday introduced “a significant pipeline leakage” within the metropolis.

The affected facility is a Nigerian Nationwide Petroleum Company (NNPC) pipeline at Abule-Soba.

An announcement by Gbenga Omotoso, Commissioner for Data, confirmed the incident.

He stated the Lagos State Emergency Administration Company (LASEMA) officers had been on the scene.

“The company and different first responders stay on excessive alert. The NNPC has been knowledgeable of the incident”, he famous.

Omotoso suggested residents in and across the space to be cautious.

He stated this might stop explosions as consultants deal with the scenario.
