Lagos CP detains inspector for injuring journalist throughout independence anniversary protest

The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, Hakeem Odumosu, has ordered the fast detention and orderly room trial of 1 Inspector Adadu Harmless hooked up to PMF 22 Ikeja, for hitting and injuring one Kayode Jaiyeola, of the Punch newspaper at Maryland, Lagos on Thursday.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP Muyiwa Adejobi, in a press release, mentioned preliminary findings carried out by the Commissioner of Police and eye witness accounts from senior officers on the bottom revealed that the officer out of the blue attacked the journalist with out earlier altercation or confrontation.
