Lagos: Police to arraign 30 RevolutionNow protesters Tuesday

The Police Command in Lagos has confirmed the arrest of 30 protesters.

They took half within the RevolutionNow demonstrations throughout the state.

Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, in an announcement mentioned they had been arrested at numerous areas.

Their offence is “illegal meeting and conduct prone to trigger a breach of the general public peace, and others together with violation of COVID-19 protocols and legal guidelines”.

The spokesman mentioned these in custody placed on RevolutionNow vests and carried placards.

He introduced that they are going to be charged to court docket on Friday.

In the meantime, the Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, has ordered the trial of Inspector Adadu Harmless connected to PMF 22 Ikeja.
