Adetoro David, a 44-year-old man, has been accused of stealing a two-year-old boy in Ogun State.
Adetoro was on Friday arraigned earlier than an Ota Justice of the Peace’s court docket, DAILY POST reviews.
He was stated to be dealing with a two-count cost bordering on stealing and conspiracy.
The Prosecutor, Police Inspector E.O. Adaraloye, had knowledgeable the Justice of the Peace that Adetoro and others at giant, dedicated the offences on September Eight at Oju-Ore, Ado-Odo/Ota Native Authorities space of Ogun State.
Adaraloye alleged that the defendant, in collaboration along with his accomplices, stole to a 2-year-old boy Marvelous Oluwole.
Oluwole was reportedly kidnapped by the suspect when the mom despatched him and his eldest brother, Kehinde Oluwole, on an errand.
The prosecutor stated the defendant and a lady have been collectively once they referred to as Kehinde and the stolen boy to return over.
On arrival, they allegedly gave Kehinde cash to go and purchase biscuit, as Marvelous was left with them.
Earlier than Kehinde returned from the place her went to purchase biscuits, Adaraloye stated the 2 had ‘disappeared’ with Marvelous.
It was gathered that Adetoro was apprehended when the case was reported on the Onipanu police station by the boy’s mom.
The offences contravene Sections 371(1) and 516 of the Ogun State Prison Code, Legal guidelines of 2006.
Nonetheless, the defendant had pleaded not responsible to the costs in opposition to him.
The Justice of the Peace, Mrs A.O. Adeyemi, has granted the accused bail within the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum.
The case has since been adjourned until October 8.
