Navy hit terrorists’ targets, kill scores in Lake Chad, Sambisa forest

The Air Job Drive of Operation Lafiya Dole has hit Boko Haram/Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) terrorists’ hideouts and killed a number of fighters within the Lake Chad, and Sambisa forest in Borno.

The Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, Maj.-Gen. John Enenche, stated this in a press release on Friday.

The strikes had been launched beneath a subsidiary operation tagged ‘’Operation Hail Storm’’.

One of many targets was positioned at Bula Sabo on the fringes of the Sambisa forest, recognized as a settlement used as dwelling place by some terrorist commanders.

Nigerian Air Drive (NAF) fighter jets and helicopter gunships meted devastating hits on the goal buildings, together with a logistics facility.
