Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State on Thursday granted pardon to 5 inmates within the state.
The Governor stated his motion was within the spirit of the nation’s diamond jubilee celebrations and in train of the powers conferred on him by part 212 of the 1999 structure of the nation.

“Buhari Abubakar, initially sentenced to four years, having served 2 years and 10 months, has been granted absolute pardon.
“David Luka initially sentenced to three years imprisonment, having served 2 years and 11 months, is hereby granted absolute pardon.
“Ya’u Bala initially sentenced to three years imprisonment, having served 2 years eight months, has additionally been granted absolute pardon”, he defined.
