NUC orders universities to conclude resumption preparations

Nationwide Universities Fee (NUC) has ordered faculties to conclude preparations for reopening.

This adopted federal authorities’s approval for resumption.

NUC directed Vice Chancellors to make sure that resumption plans are in sync with Nigeria Centre for Illness Management (NCDC) pointers.

The memo was signed by Chris Maiyaki, a Director in NUC Govt Secretary’s workplace.

NUC informed universities to count on visits for inspection of employees officers, lecture theatres, laboratories, libraries, lodging, healthcare services, amongst others.

“Universities should on no account, violate the total cycle of the semester system, in line with the NUC accepted Benchmark Minimal Tutorial Requirements (BMAS),” the letter warned.

Faculties are to additionally guarantee strict compliance with different extant NUC high quality assurance requirements and pointers.
