Ogun: SARS arrests six suspected armed robbers in navy camouflage

The Commissioner of Police in Ogun State, Edward Ajogun, stated operatives of the Particular Anti-Theft Squard (SARS) have arrested six suspected armed robbers, who he stated have been pretending to be troopers.

In accordance with Ajogun, the theft suspects working in navy uniforms, had been specialised in robbing passengers on the favored Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

Parading them on Tuesday, Ajogun recognized the suspects as: Ikechukwu Alore, Ifeanyi Emmanuel, Chibueze Kingsley, Obiora Michael, Elias John and Vincent Magnus,

The police boss stated they had been arrested at totally different hideouts inside and out of doors the state by the SARS operatives.

The Police Commissioner stated his spouse was seen treating the injuries, which he lied to his spouse was sustained in a street accident.

Obiora who claimed he “hustles” at Alaba Worldwide market, Lagos, advised newsmen that he regrets his motion, saying he had earlier left the gang as a result of they used to shortchange whereas sharing proceeds from their theft operations, including that he rejoined them later.
