Oshiomhole: We’ve caged lions, tigers in Edo politics – Gov Obaseki boasts

The reelected Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, on Monday, mentioned the lions and tigers of the state have been caged.

Obaseki mentioned his victory on the Saturday’s governorship election was a sign that the tigers and the lions in Edo State politics have been completely caged.

He said this whereas addressing supporters of the Peoples Democratic Get together, PDP, at Kings Sq. in Benin Metropolis, the state capital.

He mentioned: “The message of Saturday’s governorship election is that I ought to go and work for Edo folks as a result of Edo folks have spoken loud and clear.

Obaseki had defeated his closest rival, Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the All Progressives Congress, APC, after polling 307,955 votes.

Ize-Iyamu, nonetheless, garnered 223,619.
