Police affirm abduction of Delta Council Chairman, Okorodudu

The Delta State Police Command has confirmed the kidnapping of the Warri North Council Chairman, Mr. Okorodudu.

In a phone chat with DAILY POST Correspondent, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya stated the incident occurred at Mabiaku street, close to Nana School in Warri, opposite to claims the incident occurred at Udu Native Authorities Space.

The picture maker stated the Police at β€œA” Division in Warri reported the incident to the State Command.

She identified that the driving force of the kidnapped Council Chairman was shot within the leg and was rushed to the Police Station by a great Samaritan.

In keeping with DSP Onovwakpoyeya, β€œHe was within the firm of his boss in a land cruiser as they simply returned from Asaba. Then, a great Samaritan took him to the Police station after he was shot and his boss was taken away.”

The gunmen had at about 8:25pm on Saturday night kidnapped the Warri North Native Authorities Council Chairman, Mr. Okorodudu.
