Police arrest pretend soldier with Indian hemp in Delta

The Police Command in Delta Stste mentioned it arrested a pretend soldier alongside Sapele-Benin street, conveying 420 wraps of Indian hemp.

DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, the Command spokesperson, who confirmed arrest of the suspect to journalists on Monday in Asaba, mentioned the person was arrested with a car painted in military colors.

“The suspect, 44-year-old Mr Fabian Ojumah, was arrested with a Toyota Tundra truck painted within the Nigeria Military colors.

“The suspect paraded himself as a Main within the Nigeria Military when he was quizzed by police operatives of the Delta Operation Safer Highways.

“He was caught conveying 420 wraps of Indian hemp, and can’t specify the place he’s taking the displays to,” he mentioned.

He additionally mentioned the command has commenced investigations to unravel the pretend soldier’s felony community, NAN stories.
