Heavy downpour has washed away a bridge in Badungu village, Birnin Kudu native authorities space of Jigawa State, killing a 21-year-old man recognized as Sani Dahiru.
Police spokesman SP Abdu Jinjiri confirmed the incident to DAILY POST in Dutse, capital of the state.
He stated the incident occurred on Monday night time on account of heavy downpour which resulted to the collapse of the bridge linking Badungu village and Cagun village in Birnin kudu native authorities space.
Jinjiri said that one Sani Dalha of Gwangwara village drowned and died whereas attempting to cross the bridge.
He famous that the deceased was handed over to his family and was buried in response to the Islamic rites.
