Polytechnic Ibadan pronounces resumption of educational actions

The Polytechnic, Ibadan on Friday, introduced the resumption of educational actions.

DAILY POST remembers that the establishment was shut down because of the outbreak of Coronavirus.

The establishment has, nevertheless, introduced that it’ll resume subsequent Monday.

The establishment mentioned that it’ll formally re-open for the conclusion of the primary semester 2019/2020 tutorial actions on Monday, fifth October, 2020.

Registrar of the establishment, Mrs. Modupe Theresa Fawale in a press release made obtainable to DAILY POST on Friday, mentioned that the resumption of the scholars might be in phases.

The HND II college students within the two Schools (FBCS and FES) may have their revision workout routines between the fifth and ninth October, 2020 whereas their examination might be carried out between 12th and 23rd October, 2020.

She mentioned, “Revision for HNDII and NDII college students within the Schools of Engineering (FENG), Science (FES) and Monetary Administration Research (FFMS) who’re anticipated to return to high school then will maintain between 26th to 30th October, 2020 whereas their examination will run from 2nd to 13th November, 2020.

“For ND I and HND I college students, their tutorial actions will start on 16th November with revision for NDI and HNDI college students of the Schools of Enterprise and Communication Research and their counterparts in Environmental Research which is able to finish on 20th November. Examination for these college students HNDI and NDI of FES and FBCS will maintain between 23rd November and 4th December, 2020.

“From seventh to 11th December, NDI and HNDI within the Schools of Engineering, Science and Monetary Research may have their revision train with their examination holding between 14th and 24th December, 2020”.

Fawale added that “It’s obligatory for all college students to abide by all COVID-19 protocol as those who didn’t abide is not going to be allowed to participate within the scheduled actions”.
