President Buhari mourns ‘Daddy’ – Every day Publish Nigeria

President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday mourned Gabriel Igboanugo, a person he fondly referred to as Daddy.

A press release to DAILY POST on Sunday, signed by Femi Adesina, his Spokesman, mentioned that Buhari and his ‘Daddy’ grew to become very shut when he was the Common Officer Commanding (GOC) third Armoured Division of the Nigerian Military, Jos, Plateau State.

“Pa Igboanugo was the Principal Schooling Officer on the Command Secondary College, Jos, and had an in depth and amicable relationship with the then GOC,” the assertion mentioned.

The assertion mentioned “Girl Margaret Igboanugo, in a personal letter to President Buhari, writes: ‘My husband, whom you used to fondly name ‘Daddy,’ handed away the way in which he lived; peacefully and in consolation, in his residence in Ihiala, Anambra State. He will probably be buried there on Friday, November 27, 2020.”

The President commiserated with the Igboanugo household, urging them to take solace in the truth that their patriarch lived to a ripe outdated age, and touched the lives of a numerous variety of those that got here throughout his means.
