Reason for Ondo INEC inferno revealed

The reason for the fireplace outbreak that destroyed over 5000 card readers on the headquarters of the Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee, INEC, in Ondo State was on Monday attributed to defective electrical connections.

The Commissioner for Police within the state, Bolaji Salami, made the disclosure whereas briefing journalists on the result of the investigation carried over the incident.

Recall that on Thursday final week, 5141 card readers meant for the October have been destroyed in an inferno that razed the ICT unit of the fee.
