Robbers dressed as vigilantes assault Yola group

Robbers dressed as vigilantes have raised a group in Yolde-Pate, a ward in Yola City, in Yola South Native Authorities Space of Adamawa State.

A resident disclosed Saturday night that the robbers invaded Ummare in Yolde-Pate and operated between 1 and 3am Saturday, going from one home to a different and robbing residents of their money, telephones and plasma TV units.

In Yola and the remainder of Adamawa State, vigilantes are recognized with uniform that comprise darkish prime and trousers with pink beret, which set them other than different residents and the common safety brokers.

In response to Nasiru, a member of the native vigilante group mistook them for a colleague and acquired wounded within the course of.

He mentioned one Malam Isa who approached them, believing they had been colleagues, was hooked up and inflicted with machete cuts.

In the meantime, the state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Suleiman Nguroje, mentioned no report of such incident had reached him.
